Radio THR Raaga was first launched in July 2001. In the beginning, it only plays Tamil songs, and later on, It adds Hindi music in their music format and becomes more famous in Asia. Furthermore, It is also known for its breakfast show, Kalakkal Kaalai, which was started on 1 August 2006. THR Raaga starts working on all frequencies for the first time in July 2018 before this it provides only 3 hours of transmission in the selected zone.
