Best FM started officially in 1988 with the name of Time Highway Radio. At that time telecast songs according to the taste of Sultan of Johor, Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. It telecast music in the Malay language but nowadays it telecast music in the English language also. In the year 1996, I started working commercially and cover the whole country. It is working with the tagline (Terbaik Untuk Harimu).
Its head office is located in the royal town of Pasir Pelangi. Almost 31 years ago, Best FM was still owned by the Suara Johor Sdn Bhd. DJ Burhan Mohtaruddin is one of the most popular announcers of all time in the station which has the world record of 104 hours of non-stop broadcasting.
